Judgment-Free Mental Health Care
Initial Psychiatric Assessment
Embarking on a psychiatric journey begins with a crucial initial assessment. This fundamental phase is dedicated to evaluating, diagnosing, and managing conditions that affect one's emotional state, cognitive ability, thought patterns, and behavior. Through this comprehensive assessment, healthcare providers gain a profound comprehension of an individual's past and present mental health concerns. This process paves the way for precise diagnoses and lays the groundwork for treatments grounded in scientific evidence, ultimately fostering a robust and enduring therapeutic partnership.
- The duration of each appointment is set at 60 minutes.
- Available for individuals 6 years and older.
Follow up and medication management
It should be emphasized that medication is not a requisite for all psychiatric conditions and individuals. However, there are many instances where pharmaceutical interventions, coupled with comprehensive psychiatric care, prove beneficial in alleviating symptoms, modifying detrimental behaviors, and enhancing overall well-being.
The length of each follow-up appointment is 20-30 minutes.
This service is exclusive to patients who have previously established care with us.
Disclaimer: Prescriptions (& refills) will only be written for patients who maintain their regularly scheduled appointments and are in good standing with Prila Psychiatric Care and the prescriber.
